Uzbek Language Classes

Children & youth, ages 5–16 Weekends during the school year

Children learn to speak, read, and write Uzbek through conversation, songs, stories, and games — so the language of their grandparents stays alive at the family table.

  • Beginner and continuing groups
  • Latin and Arabic-script reading practice
  • Folk songs, poetry, and storytelling

Farsi / Dari Language Classes

Children & youth, ages 5–16 Weekends during the school year

A warm, structured introduction to Dari — the shared language of Afghanistan — building confident readers, clear writers, and proud speakers who can connect with relatives near and far.

  • Alphabet, reading, and handwriting
  • Everyday conversation and vocabulary
  • Classic poetry from Rumi to Hafez
  • Small classes with caring teachers

Qur'an Classes for Children

Children, ages 6–14 Weekends, grouped by level

Gentle, patient instruction in reading the Qur'an with proper tajweed, alongside the values of kindness, honesty, and respect that our families hold dear.

  • Arabic letters and Qaida foundations
  • Tajweed and recitation practice
  • Memorization of short surahs
  • Character and manners (adab)
